We are the Jamison’s. Although we are complete opposites according to Myers Briggs (he’s an ENTJ, she’s an ISFP), we both have a huge amount of wanderlust. So we’ve decided to trade in our 3500 sq. ft. house for a 27’ Airstream. With our 12 and 10 year olds in tow, we plan to explore our beautiful country for about a year. We will start in Richmond, VA but time will tell where our adventure ends. We look forward to seeing where this journey takes us — it’s truly A STREAM COME TRUE!
We discovered sailing on our honeymoon and have had endless conversations about taking a year off to sail with our kids. While we have enjoyed nearly 20 years sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, we were a little nervous about living on our sailboat for a year. A few years ago, we rented an RV in Las Vegas. We realized a land cruise could fulfill our wanderlust dreams without as much concern for storms or our next meal. Along with our love affair with National Parks, we figured the RV life might be a perfect fit for our family. So after years of dreaming, we will begin our adventure this summer.
